When you book a walk with me, I will pick up your dog from your home and take them on an adventure suited to their needs. The length of the walk will depend on your requested time, ensuring they get the right amount of exercise and engagement. Walks can take place at a nearby dog park, where they can run freely in a safe, enclosed space or enjoy a structured leash walk. If your dog needs help with basic training, I can incorporate simple commands into our walks to reinforce good behavior. This includes essential commands such as “sit,” “stay,” “heel” (walking calmly beside me), “leave it” (ignoring distractions), “come” (reliable recall), and “wait” (before crossing roads or eating). These small but important skills can make walks safer and more enjoyable for both you and your dog. However, I do not guarantee that your dog will learn these commands immediately, as training requires consistency and reinforcement at home as well. For training, I ask that you provide a bag of your dog’s favorite treats so they stay motivated and comfortable. My goal is to make each walk not just a routine but a fun and beneficial experience for your furry friend!
